主角Karan很优秀却对他的未来感到困惑。而他的女友Romila已经有在新闻频道当记者的雄心。Karan的犹豫不决，使他与他父亲差距也拉大。父亲希望儿子也能跟Romila一样有所作为。从此这改变了Karan的生活。他决定与朋友参军，以优秀的成绩进入IMF（印度军校）。只是，开始的时候Karan不能习惯军队的训练生活，竟逃回家中，Romila知道后生气地向他提出分手。Karan深受打击，也激发起斗志，回到军校，努力训练，整个人都改变了，与此同时Romila也成为新闻频道的记者。后来，两人在克什米尔山谷再次相遇。这时Karan已是一名印度军官，在克什米尔山谷守护边境。在一次战争后，Karan有了一个伟大的目标，就是重夺被巴方强行占领的5179山峰。最后Karan能否实现目标呢，他和Romila以后会怎样呢？
